Description

JDM ASTAR LLC (JDM) is recalling certain T1 replacement headlight bulbs sizes H11, 9005, 9006, H4, 9007, H13, and 9012. The light output may be excessive. As such, these bulbs fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment."

Injuries / Consequence

The excessive brightness may blind oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

JDM will notify owners, instructing them to return the bulbs for a full refund, free of charge. The recall began January 4, 2021. Owners may contact JDM customer service at 1-626-330-0711.
