Description

THE WELDED JOINTS CONNECTING THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER MUFFLER AND THE EXHAUST PIPE WAS INFERIOR. THE WELD CAN CRACK UNDER NORMAL OPERATION.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE EMISSION GAS LEAKAGE AND POSSIBLY COULD RESULT IN THE MUFFLER ASSEMBLY FALLING ONTO THE ROADWAY AND CAUSING A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE MUFFLER ASSEMBLY.
