Description
Setra of North America (Setra) is recalling certain 2017 Setra S407CC motor coaches. The vehicle's exterior covers which are bonded to powder coated frames may detach from the vehicle because the powder coating may peel off of the frame.
Injuries / Consequence
Any panels that detach can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
The affected vehicles have not been sold to customers and are still in inventory. They will be repaired by the US importer, prior to being put into service. Therefore, an owner notification letter will not be issued. Owners may contact Setra customer service at 1-800-241-2947. Setra's number for this recall is 98.10M10519A.
