Description

Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company (Silver Eagle) is recalling certain eye and shank assemblies, models VAST20W, CTL40W, and CTA40W. The eye and shank welds may fatigue and crack, allowing and the eye to separate from trailer converter dolly.

Injuries / Consequence

A separated trailer convertor dolly eye can cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Silver Eagle will send customers replacement parts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 4, 2024. Owners may contact Silver Eagle customer service at 1-800-547-6792.
