Description
Buy4easy Inc (Buy4easy) is recalling certain TMS JX-A111 full face motorcycle helmets with visor, sizes S, M, L, and XL, manufactured June 1, 2013, to September 30, 2013. During testing, the shell of the affected motorcycle helmets fractured and the liner split thereby failing to meet the penetration and retention requirements. Additionally, the helmet label does not meet the DOT standard. As such, these helmets fail to meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
Injuries / Consequence
The wearer of this helmet may not be properly protected in the event of crash, increasing their risk of injury.
