Description

ON CERTAIN TRANSIT BUSES EQUIPPED WITH CONFIGURATION FC510 HIGH PRESSURE FAN MOTOR HOSES, THE WRONG HOSE SPECIFICATION WAS SELECTED.

Injuries / Consequence

THE HYDRAULIC COOLING FAN PRESSURE HOSE MAY EXHIBIT AN OIL LEAK. OIL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy

DAIMLERCHRYSLER/ORION BUS HAS REPLACED THE HOSES ON ALL VEHICLES INVOLVED IN THIS RECALL.
