Description

JAYCO IS RECALLING 28 MY 2009 LEGACY FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILERS FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 120, "TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS." THERE IS A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR INCORRECTLY STATING THE TIRE LOAD RANGE AND THE INFLATION PRESSURE ON THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION LABEL FOR THE REAR AXLE.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THE CORRECT TIRE PRESSURE IS NOT USED, IT MAY CAUSE PREMATURE TIRE WEAR AND FAILURE INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy
