Description

CERTAIN KERR POLO MOTORCYCLE HELMETS, MODEL H205, MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JULY 1 AND DECEMBER 5, 2005. THESE HELMETS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE IMPACT REQUIREMENT OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 218, MOTORCYCLE HELMETS.

Injuries / Consequence

THE WEARER OF A NONCOMPLIANT HELMET MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED FROM HEAD IMPACTS IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.

Remedy

KERR WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER FULL CREDIT FOR THE RECALLED HELMETS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING AUGUST 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT KERR LEATHERS, INC. AT 1-800-994-5377.
