VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BOAT TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH BRAKE SOLENOIDS MANUFACTURED BY KODIAK/IMS. AS A RESULT OF A DEFECTIVE SOLENOID VALVE, THE BRAKES MAY NOT ACTUATE PROPERLY, RESULTING IN THE BRAKES LOCKING UP ON TRAILERS HAULING BOATS.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A LACK OF BRAKING ON TRAILERS HAULING BOATS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE SOLENOID VALVES.
