VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS. THE DOOR HINGE FASTENERS CONTAIN A DEFECT WHICH COULD CAUSE A FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE LOADING REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 206, "DOOR LOCKS AND DOOR RETENTION COMPONENTS."

Injuries / Consequence

IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE DOOR HINGE MAY NOT PERFORM AS REQUIRED BY THE STANDARD.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE DOOR HINGE FASTENERS.
