Description

Elgin Sweeper Company, Inc. (Elgin Sweeper) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Broom Badger street sweepers. The fuel system may allow the tank to be overfilled, which can cause a fuel leak.

Injuries / Consequence

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.

Remedy

Dealers will repair the fuel tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2024. Owners may contact Elgin Sweeper Customer Service Department at 1-877-DIAL-ESG (1-877-342-5374). Elgin Sweeper's number for this recall is SB-0260.
