Description
ON CERTAIN TOY HAULER RECREATIONAL TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH GREAT PLAINS INDUSTRIES (GPI) FUEL TRANSFER PUMPS, DUE TO INSUFFICIENT EPOXY ADHESIVE APPLIED AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION AT THE FACTORY, A FUEL LEAK CAN OCCUR AT THE PUMP'S INLET VALVE.
Injuries / Consequence
IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE CAN OCCUR.
Remedy
GPI HAS REPLACED ALL THE FUEL PUMPS INVOLVED IN THE RECALL. THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO GREAT PLAINS RECALL (PLEASE SEE 06E016).
