Description

LP SERVICE LINE COULD RUPTURE, DUE TO HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE. IF LP SERVICE VALVE WAS CLOSED WITH LIQUID PROPANE IN THE LINE TO THE GENERATOR WHEN THE GENERATOR WAS NOT OPERATING. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: PROPANE WOULD BE RELEASED TO THE ATMOSPHERE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN AN EXPLOSION AND/OR FIRE.

Remedy

INSTALL A HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE IN LP SERVICE LINE.
