A THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE WITH AN INNER "STEEL SHIELDED" COMPONENT WAS SUBSTITUTED FOR A CABLE WITH AN INNER "STEEL STRANDED" COMPONENT IN A DESIGN WHICH REQUIRES A MINIMUM BEND RADIUS OF 4 INCHES. THE INNER "STEEL SHIELDED" CABLE HAS A MINIMUM BEND RADIUS OF 8 INCHES, AND CAN BIND OR BREAK IN ITS CURRENT USE IN THE THROTTLE ASSEMBLY.

THIS CAN RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.
