Description

AN INCOMPLETE SEAL AT THE REAR OF THE MOTORHOME BETWEEN THE LIVING FACILITY AREA AND THE COMPARTMENT WHICH CONTAINS THE HEATING SYSTEM CAN ALLOW CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) TO ENTER THE LIVING AREA.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CONDITION CAN LEAD TO ILLNESS AND POSSIBLE DEATH TO VEHICLE OCCUPANTS FROM CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL COMPLETELY SEAL OFF THE LIVING AREA FROM THE HEATING SYSTEM COMPARTMENT, AND WILL INSTALL REDESIGNED DUCTS FOR EXHAUSTING HEATING SYSTEM EMISSIONS TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE MOTORHOME.
