Description

PETERSON INDUSTRIES IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 AND 2011 EXCEL WINSLOW, LIMITED, AND WILD CARGO MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH SUBURBAN GAS COOK STOVES WITH SEALED BURNERS. THE UNITS INVOLVED USE AN ALUMINUM TUBE TO CARRY LIQUID PROPANE GAS FROM THE OVEN CONTROL VALVE TO THE GAS ORIFICE WHICH SUPPLIES GAS TO THE BURNER. A GAS LEAK OCCURRING IN THE AREA OF THE OVEN PILOT CAN CAUSE A "FLASH" WHEN THE GAS IGNITES, AND WOULD CAUSE A FIRE IF THE OVEN VALVE IS NOT PROMPTLY TURNED OFF.
