Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SCHOOL BUS CHASSIS. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRING HARNESS CAN CONTACT THE BRAKE PEDAL MOUNTING BRACKET. OVER TIME, THE HARNESS WOULD ABRADE ON THE BRACKET RESULTING IN ELECTRICAL SHORTING.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CONDITION CAN LEAD TO IGNITION OF UNDER DASH COMPONENTS AND RESULT IN A VEHICLE FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REROUTE THE WIRING HARNESS AND REPAIR ANY WIRES THAT HAVE BEEN ABRADED.
