Description

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2015 Dynamax Rev vehicles manufactured November 25, 2014, to November 26, 2014. The affected vehicles may have been manufactured with head restraints that exceed the maximum backset measurement limit of 55mm. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202a, "Head Restraints."

Injuries / Consequence

If the vehicle is struck from behind, the head restraint may not properly limit the seat occupant's head movement rearward, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Forest River will notify owners, and Chrysler dealers will replace the front seat head restraints, free of charge. The recall began on July 8, 2015. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-262-3474 ext. 212. Forest River's number for this recall is 55-06112015-0051.
