Description
BatteryJack Inc. (BatteryJack) is recalling certain DSR 808 Black, MatteAl, AM, and AXL adult motorcycle helmets, size medium, large, and extra large. These helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in the event of a head impact during a motorcycle crash. Additionally, these helmets may not be properly labeled. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
Injuries / Consequence
A helmet that does not adequately protect the wearer from an impact can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
