EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: GUNITE 2764-SERIES BRAKE DRUMS FOR USE ON FLATBED TRAILERS AND STEEL-DUMP TRAILERS. THE BRAKE DRUMS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STEEL DISC WHEELS MANUFACTURED BY HAYES LEMMERZ INTERNATIONAL, INC. THESE DRUMS BEAR DATE CODES BETWEEN "162 99" AND "225 99," INCLUSIVE.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS INCOMPATIBILITY CAN RESULT IN BRAKE DRUM FAILURE AND AN IMMEDIATE LOSS OF BRAKING CONTROL AND OTHER RISKS OF DEATH OR INJURY.

Remedy
