Description

Arcimoto Inc. (Arcimoto) is recalling certain 2019 FUV vehicles. The braided shielding of the high-voltage harness may short against an energized component causing a main fuse to blow, resulting in a loss of traction power.

Injuries / Consequence

A loss of power can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Arcimoto will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the harness and replace it, as necessary, free of charge. The manufacturer began owner notifications on January 17, 2020. Owners may contact Arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293.
