EATON AEROQUIP IS RECALLING CERTAIN FJ9372-1616 SEWER HOSE FITTINGS, FJ7938-1616 HOSE MENDERS, AND THE FOLLOWING HOSE ASSEMBLIES: FB7333-0008RL, FB7209-0008RL, FB7209-0010RL, FB7209-0003RL, FB7209-0002RL, FB7209-0001RL, FB7186-0034RL, FB7186-0033RL, FB7186-0008RL, FB7186-0006RL, FB7186-0005RL, FB7186-0004RL, FB7186-0002RL, AND FB7186-0001RL SOLD TO ORIGINAL VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS AND DISTRIBUTORS FOR USE ON SEWER CLEANING VEHICLES. THE METAL FITTING THAT IS INSTALLED ON THE END OF THE LENGTH OF SEWER HOSE THROUGH WHICH WATER IS INJECTED UNDER PRESSURE FOR CLEANING PURPOSES CAN CRACK AND FAIL.

IF THE FITTINGS FAIL, PERSONS OPERATING THE UNIT OR OTHER PERSONS NEARBY COULD BE INJURED OR PROPERTY DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.
Remedy
EATON WILL PROVIDE REPLACEMENT HOSE FITTINGS AND REPLACE SPARE PART FITTINGS FOR FITTINGS OR HOSE ASSEMBLIES THAT WERE PURCHASED AND/OR SHIPPED SINCE APRIL 1, 2009, TO AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 26, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT EATON WARRANTY DEPARTMENT AT 1-952-937-7109.
