Description

CERTAIN IC CE 2005 SCHOOL BUSES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN APRIL 27 AND OCTOBER 13, 2004. THE LOCKNUT THAT SECURES THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE PIVOT BOLT MAY NOT BE TORQUED PROPERLY.

Injuries / Consequence

THE BRAKE PEDAL MAY SEPARATE FROM THE PIVOT BRACKET. THIS COULD PREVENT BRAKE APPLICATION.

Remedy

IC CORPORATION WILL NOTIFY ITS CUSTOMERS AND WILL INSPECT THE LOCKNUT, REPLACE IF NECESSARY AND TORQUE PROPERLY FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 1, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT IC AT 1-800-448-7825.
