Description

Bucher Municipal North America (Bucher) is recalling certain 2014-2020 Johnston VT651, VT652, VS651, VS652, VT801, VS802, and Bucher V65t vehicles. The pin securing the hydraulic rear door cylinder can corrode and break, causing the rear door to fall.

Injuries / Consequence

The falling door can strike operators or bystanders, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace hydraulic rear door cylinder pin, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2024. Owners may contact Bucher customer service at 1-704-658-1333.
