Description

ON CERTAIN CAB-OVER CLASS 4 TRUCKS, THE SNAP-IN TIRE VALVE STEMS IN THE WHEELS OF THESE TRUCKS CAN LEAK AIR.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF TIRE AIR PRESSURE, LEAD TO A RUPTURE OF THE TIRE, AND CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW TIRE VALVE STEMS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 28, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT HYUNDAI TRUCK AT 1-609-395-2300.
