Description

JAYCO IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010- 2011 GREYHAWK CLASS C MOTOR HOMES MANUFACTURED FROM MAY 28, 2009, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 22, 2010 FOR AN IMPROPER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AT THE BUSS BAR ON THE AFFECTED TRANSFER SWITCHES.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS COULD LEAD TO OVERHEATING AND MELTING OF THE TRANSFER SWITCH, INCREASING THE RISK OF A FIRE, INJURY OR DEATH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TRANSFER SWITCH FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-800-283-8267.
