Improperly Seated Wheel Center Caps
Description
TAP Worldwide, LLC (TAP) is recalling certain LRG Rims 8-Lug aftermarket Wheel Center Caps, models LRG107 and LRG108. These wheel center caps may not seat properly, creating interference between the wheel and the mounting surface which can cause the wheel to loosen over time.
Injuries / Consequence
If the wheels loosen, a loss of vehicle control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
TAP will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wheel center caps, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2018. Owners may contact TAP customer service at 1-888-376-1417 or by email to:[email protected].
