Description

American Manufacturing Operations, Inc. (AMO) 2025 AMO Utility trailers. The shackle nuts securing the axle to the chassis may loosen, allowing the axle to detach from the trailer.

Injuries / Consequence

An axle separation can cause a loss of trailer control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

AMO will remove the shackle nuts and install new shackle nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2025. Owners may contact AMO customer service at 1-419-269-1560.
