Description

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2025 Utilimaster Upfit vehicles. The passenger jump seat mounting bolts may not have been properly tightened. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."

Injuries / Consequence

A seat with loose bolts may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and tighten the jump seat mounting bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 26, 2025. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 25-07.
