Description
Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2025 MODE XO vehicles. The seat assembly's floor mounting system may be improperly welded, which can cause the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."
Injuries / Consequence
A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the second-row seat mounting brackets and fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2025. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
