Description

Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Enforcer, Quantum, and Velocity fire trucks. The tires mounted on the front steer axles are incompatible with the wheels. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Injuries / Consequence

The tires can separate from the wheels, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Pierce will supply new front steer axle wheel/tire assemblies and updated tire information labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 23, 2024. Owners may contact Pierce customer service at 1-888-974-3723.
