Description
Britax Child Safety, Inc. (Britax) is recalling certain One4Life Slim ClickTight All-in-One car seats with model numbers E1D197A, E1D197B, E1D197F, and E1D197G. The labels and user guide incorrectly state the maximum rear-facing lower anchor weight. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
Injuries / Consequence
An incorrect label and user guide may result in an improperly installed child seat, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
Britax will mail owners new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 18, 2024. Owners may contact Britax customer service at 888-427-4829.
