THE KEEPER SPRINGS (FROM THE SNAP HOOKS) CAN BECOME DISENGAGED FROM THE HOOK/KEEPER, ALLOWING INADVERTENT RELEASE OF THE SNAP HOOK.
Injuries / Consequence
THIS WOULD NOT ADEQUATELY RESTRAIN A WHEEL CHAIR PASSENGER IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT AND COULD RESULT IN A PERSONAL INJURY.
Remedy
THE DEFECTIVE HOOK WILL BE REPLACED WITH A NEW DESIGN HOOK WHICH WILL NOT ALLOW THE SPRING TO ESCAPE FROM THE HOOK. THESE HOOKS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED TO DISTRIBUTORS.
