SEAT BELTS DESIGNED FOR USE ON DRIVER'S SEATS WERE INSTALLED ON PASSENGER SEATS; THIS CAUSES THE STRAP CONNECTING THE BUCKLE TO THE FLOOR TO BE TWISTED.

STRESSES WITHIN THE BUCKLE RESULT IN FAILURE TO COMPLYWITH FMVSS 210.

Remedy
