THE "CLAMSHELL" SEAT CONSTRUCTION FAILS TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 222, "SCHOOL BUS SEATING AND CRASH PROTECTION". THE SEATS ARE NOT SOFT ENOUGH TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED SURFACE CONTACT.

Remedy

ADDITIONAL MATERIAL WILL BE ADDED TO THE HEAD AREA OF THE SEATS TO INCREASE THE DEGREE OF SURFACE CONTACT.
