Description

ON CERTAIN TRAVEL TRAILERS, DUE TO VARIOUS FACTORS, INCLUDING EXCESSIVE PAINT COATING ON THE BRAKE HUB, THE ALUMINUM WHEELS COULD EXHIBIT LESSENED CLAMPING PRESSURE BETWEEN THE ALUMINUM WHEEL AND THE AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY.

Injuries / Consequence

THIS COULD LEAD TO WHEEL SEPARATION, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT ALL WHEELS, LUGS, STUDS AND MATING SURFACES, AND REMOVE PAINT FROM THE MATING SURFACES OF THE WHEEL AND HUB. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-219-825-5861.
