Description

KBC TK-9 MOTORCYCLE HELMETS MADE WITH THE ECE LINER, MANUFACTURED ON DECEMBER 8, 9, 10, 23, 26 AND 27, 2002, AND SHIPPED TO THE UNITED STATES ON DECEMBER 14 & 28, 2002, AND JANUARY 13, 2003. THESE HELMETS DO WITH THE PENETRATION TEST REQUIREMENT OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 218, "MOTORCYCLE HELMETS."

Injuries / Consequence

IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THE WEARER MAY NOT BE ADEQUATERLY PROTECTED AND COULD SUFFER SERIOUS INJURIES OR POSSIBLE DEATH.

Remedy

KBC WILL NOTIFY ITS CUSTOMERS AND PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT HELMET WHICH COMPLIES WITH FMVSS 218 FREE OF CHARGE. NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 26, 2003. OWNERS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE A FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME SHOULD CONTACT KBC AT 800-595-0080.
