Description
Spartan Fire, LLC (Spartan) is recalling certain 2021-2023, 2025 Spartan Fire Legend, 2007, 2015-2026 Star Series, and 2019-2020 UST Body emergency vehicles. A handle may detach from the ladder lock assembly, allowing the ground ladders to fall off.
Injuries / Consequence
A detached handle or ladder can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the rod and handle as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 2, 2026. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-517-543-6400. Spartan's number for this recall is 26001.
