Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE AUTOMATIC WINDOW RETRACTOR SYSTEM, WHICH ALLOWS THE VEHICLE DOOR(S) TO OPEN, WILL REMAIN IN THE CLOSED POSITION.

Injuries / Consequence

IF THIS OCCURS, THE VEHICLE OCCUPANT WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EXIT (OR ENTER) THE VEHICLE IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH OR FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE WINDOW SYSTEM AND, IF NECESSARY, WILL REPLACE THE SYSTEM WITH THE NEW, MODIFIED VERSION OF THE MICRO SWITCH AND LATCH ASSEMBLY.
