TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING SWITCH FAILS TO STAY IN LOCKED "ON" POSITION WHEN PERFORMING THE HAZARD WARNING FUNCTION. THESE UNITS DO NOT COMPLY TO FMVSS #108. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: IF THE SWITCH FAILS TO STAY IN "ON" POSITION, THE WARNING SIGNAL TO TRAFFIC WILL NOT BE PRESENT AND MAY CONTRIBUTE TO AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy
FULL CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ALL SWITCHES RETURNED TO THE MANUFACTURER.
