Description
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 Anthem and Pinnacle trucks. The tie rod assemblies may contain an improperly heat-treated ball stud that can fail, resulting in a sudden loss of steering control.
Injuries / Consequence
A sudden loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the tie rod ends as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 17, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0466.
