LTD Commodities Recalls Microwave Crisper Pans Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)
Description
This recall involves microwave crisper pans. The carbon steel pan is sold with a glass lid that has a white ceramic knob on top. The non-stick pan has bottom grooves and a silicone base. Catalog number MUP or 4040011017 is printed on the outside of the box, near the UPC bar code 707569068464. Shipments made after July 2013 include a label on the knob that reads "inspected" and are not included in this recall.
Injuries / Consequence
The firm has received 16 reports of incidents including sparks, flames, shattered or exploding glass lids.
