Description
Harbor Freight Tools (Harbor Freight) is recalling certain Pittsburgh Automotive A/C R134A Manifold Gauge Sets, part number 62707, sold between May 22, 2020 and August 11, 2020. The labels for the high pressure and low pressure manifold and coupler valves may have been swapped, incorrectly stating which way to open or close the valves.
Injuries / Consequence
The incorrect labels may result in the release of pressurized refrigerant, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Harbor Freight will notify owners, and send new replacement labels with instructions how to correctly apply them over the original labels. The recall began October 13, 2020. Owners may contact Harbor Freight customer service at 1-800-444-3353.
