MT-10 AND MT-11 STEER DRIVE AXLES MANUFACTURED FROM JANUARY 1990 TO AUGUST 31, 2002. THE LEFT HAND STEERING KNUCKLE CAN DEVELOP A CRACK.
Injuries / Consequence
THIS COULD EVENTUALLY RESULT IN A FRACTURE OF THE KNUCKLE AND A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy
MARMON-HERRINGTON WILL NOTIFY ITS CUSTOMERS TO HAVE THE AXLES INSPECTED AND REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2002.
