Description

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BOAT TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH 14" AND 15" UNIQUE PRO WHEEL AND LUG NUTS. DUE TO PAINT ON THE WHEEL HUB, THE LUG NUTS WERE NOT TIGHTENED PROPERLY. THE WHEELS COULD LOOSEN DURING TRAVEL RESULTING IN THE WHEEL STUD BREAKING. THE WHEEL COULD THEN SEPARATE FROM THE TRAILER.

THE WHEEL COULD SEPARATE FROM THE TRAILER, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REMOVE ALL PAINT FROM THE WHEEL HUB, RE-INSTALL THE WHEEL, AND RE-TORQUE THE LUG NUTS.
