Description

Vac-Tron Equipment, LLC, (Vac-Tron) is recalling certain 2016-2020 LPSDT trailers. These vehicles may be missing various exterior lighting and reflective markings. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Injuries / Consequence

The lack of exterior lighting and reflective markings may reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Vac-Tron will notify owners and dealers will relocate the vehicle lights, and add reflectors and conspicuity tape, free of charge. The recall began March 31, 2020. Owners may contact Vac-Tron customer service at 1-352-782-2222.
