Description

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2016 Jay Flight SLX recreational trailers manufactured March 3, 2016, to April 20, 2016. The bolts that secure the propane tank to the trailer's A-frame may be missing lock washers, allowing the propane tank to loosen and detach from the vehicle.

Injuries / Consequence

If the propane tank detaches from the trailer, there is an increased risk of a crash.

Remedy

Jayco has notified owners, and dealers will install the lock washers to the two bolts that secure the propane tank to the A-frame, free of charge. The recall began on May 17, 2016. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901298.
