Description

AT THE TAPER PIN END OF THE TORQUE ROD IS A METAL AND RUBBER BUSHING. THIS BUSHING BEGINS TO UNSEAT, OR "WALKS-OUT."

Injuries / Consequence

ONCE THE BUSHING BEGINS TO WALK OUT, THE TORQUE ROD CAN BREAK ALLOWING THE REAR AXLE OF THE BUS TO IMPROPERLY TRACK LEADING TO A LOSS OF CONTROL.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE REAR LOWER TORQUE RODS.
