GALAXY HELMETS AND ACCESSORIES (GALAXY HELMETS) IS RECALLING CERTAIN GLX 501C EXTRA LARGE MOTORCYCLE HELMETS. THESE HELMETS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE IMPACT REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD (FMVSS) NO. 218, "MOTORCYCLE HELMETS."

THE WEARER OF A NONCOMPLIANT HELMET CAN SUSTAIN SERIOUS INJURIES IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.
