Description

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2021 ATTXX-M/P/S aerial devices. Bolts in the rotation bearing outer-race may have been over-tightened, allowing the bolts to break.

Injuries / Consequence

Broken bolts can cause separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Altec will replace the outer-race rotation bolts, free of charge. Owner notification were mailed on March 25, 2022. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 849.
